Bel Air Festival of Arts Turns 50

On Sept. 20, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Shamrock Park will be hosting the 50th annual Bel Air Festival for Arts on Hickory Avenue, Bel Air, MD.

Sponsored by the Bel Air Recreation Committee, the Bel Air Festival for the Arts is attended by 350 craftspeople, and artisans displaying their work. This one-day event is considered to be one of the largest festivals in Harford County.

The Bel Air Festival for the Arts shows off the east coast’s finest art including hand-made crafts, unique art pieces, and photography. With free admission, the festival is family friendly, carrying out activities for the children attending. Many different food choices will be available, and the money earned from concessions will be donated to the Bel Air Parks and Recreation programs. The festival provides live entertainment, featuring many different performers to create a great show.

Parking is $2.00 dollars, and available all day in the Bel Air parking garage on Hickory Avenue for the festival. If needed, transportation is provided by a free shuttle service that transports from the MVA parking lot on Route 24, to the location of the festival.
