From Sept. 11 through Sept. 13., the Harford Artists Association displayed Pictures at an Exhibition at the Harford Artists Gallery to celebrate artistic talent in the community.

The event was named after Russian composer Modest Mussorgsky’s musical in 1874. Pictures at an Exhibition, will be running until Oct. 25 of this year on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10 am to 5 pm.

The Harford artist association is sponsored by businesses such as Anytime Fitness, Bishop & Adkins PA, Broom’s Bloom Farm Products, Inc., Caring Touch Medical, Inc., ClearTree, LLC, Comer Construction, Inc., and Fortunato Brothers Pizza.

Susan M. Zanella, a member of the Harford Artist Association, stated, “When you have a passion it’s nice to share it with others.”

The exhibit features oil paintings, watercolor paintings, jewelry, photographs, and hand craved wooden sculptures created by local members of the community like Carol Johnson, Louanne van Fossen, Marilyn Moore, Richard Gordon Zyne, Kathleen Scott and Angelo Blanca.

Heni Misciagna, a local artist, said “It was really nice to see some of the amazingly talented artist’s work and a variety of different mediums together.”

The Harford Artists Association are always happy to meet new artists in the community, and encourages all to share their love of art and their talents.
