Revving up for Reverie

Logan Burnett

On Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015, at 2:10 p.m. in room C222, Bel Air High School’s literary magazine, Reverie, will have its first informational meeting to discuss the purpose of the club and the plans for the upcoming year.

Reverie is a yearly publication of poetry, short stories, and art submitted by students of Bel Air High School. The club is sponsored by Mr. Taylor, the Creative Writing teacher.

Reverie’s editor this year is August Napolitano. He was joined by a few other fellow students on Sept. 2 to create signs promoting the club with information on them, which can be found posted around the school.

“I believe that Reverie is a wonderful opportunity for people who are looking to express themselves creatively and help contribute to their school in a fun and unique way!” stated 11th grade student, Brogan Gerhart, when asked what she thought of the club.

Even if you don’t have anything to submit, but you still enjoy reading stories and poems or looking at art, then Reverie is the place for you! Reverie is also looking for co-editors and art editors to work alongside Napolitano. Again, the first official meeting of Reverie is Wednesday, Sept. 9 after school in room C222. Hope to see you there!
