Back to School – On Thursday, all returning Bobcats and our new freshman class of 2019 had to set their alarms and grab their supplies for class. Like always, summer has seemed far too short, but rest assured the 2015-2016 school year has tons to offer, and us here at the Bellarion will cover it all. Also, good luck to our Class of 2016 seniors!

VMAs – The MTV Music Video Awards for 2015 were held on Saturday, August 30. Miley Cyrus hosted and the event featured performances by Nick Jonas, Walk the Moon, The Weeknd, Twenty One Pilots, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, and more.

Straight Outta Compton – Named for N.W.A’s iconic 1988 debut, Straight Outta Compton is a biopic about the history of Compton, California, and the massive hip-hop scene that emerged from it in the late 1980s. On the heels of the film’s success, former N.W.A member and entrepreneur Dr. Dre released Compton, his first solo album since 1999. The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200, and was met with critical acclaim.
