Dancing with the Stars, The Voice, and American Idol Finale: All 3 hit reality shows ended this week.  The winners of DWTS were Olympic Gold Medalist Meryl Davis and first-time champion Maksim Chmerkovskiy. The winner of The Voice was Josh Kaufman of Team Usher (much to the surprise of fans of Christina Grimmie). The winner of American Idol was Caleb Johnson.

Billboard Awards: If you missed this year’s Billboard Awards, you missed an interesting show. Highlights include: Ludacris hosting, the American TV debut of 5 Seconds of Summer, Kendall Jenner not being able to read a teleprompter, Michael Jackson coming back from the dead to perform, Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert putting on one of the best performances of the night, Beyoncé winning zero awards, and J Lo ending the night with a fabulous performance.

Charlie Day’s Commencement Speech: A 1998 graduate from Merrimack College in Massachusetts, Charlie Day recently spoke at the college’s 64th commencement ceremony. The video of his speech, posted on YouTube on May 20th, now has over 1,400,000 views and counting. His speech was a perfect blend of comedy, interesting college stories of his own, and down to earth, heartfelt insights.
