Jay Z and Solange Knowles: TMZ released security cam footage this week from a fight between Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s sister, Solange. And in the true fashion of the internet, a hashtag was created and within hours it became a worldwide trending topic. The hashtag, #WhatJayZSaidToSolange, was filled with jokes about what exactly set Solange off. People think Jay Z said something rude to Beyoncé and Solange started fighting with him.

Christina Grimmie Voice Save: The Voice gives the opportunity to save your favorite artists via Twitter with the hashtag #VoiceSave followed by the artist’s name. This week, Internet sensation Christina Grimmie was on the verge of being sent home, but with the help of all of her followers and some celebrities, she was saved with the most #VoiceSave tweets in the history of the show. #VoiceSave was trending in the USA for a half hour and Grimmie was saved. Now all 5 remaining artists are headed to next week’s finale.

Google Glass: Google’s innovative creation has finally hit the market. For $1500, you can own a computer attached to your glasses. Google Glass originally seemed like a joke and not possible, but now it’s a reality.

Harry Potter and The Escape from Gringotts: Potterheads everywhere are squealing with delight; the Harry Potter theme park in Universal Studios is opening a huge extension this summer. The big ride, Escape from Gringotts, will take guests down into the vaults of Gringotts bank, a setting introduced in the first Harry Potter book and later elaborated on in the final book. Deep under the grounds of Diagon Alley is a dragon that is guarding millions of wizard vaults and guests will zoom past before they’re caught. The new extension also features Diagon Alley and the train that will take guests to the other park that features the Hogwarts castle.

Flappy Bird Returns: Yes, you’ve read that correctly. The annoying app will be returning to the app store in August.
