The Bel Air Drama Company announced Sunset Blvd. as this year’s musical on January 23, 2014.

Sunset Blvd. first opened in London in 1993. The show stars Norma Desmond, a faded movie starlet of the silent screen era who lives in the past inside her decaying mansion on Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles. When young screenwriter Joe Gillis accidentally crosses her path, she sees in him an opportunity to make her comeback to the big screen.

This year’s auditions dates for the show will be during the week of Feb. 17. If there are any questions about the show check the call board outside of the black box or talk to Mr. Bowden in G105.
