From December 10-19, 2013, the Bel Air High School Music Department will be taking part in the Toys for Tots toy collection this 2013 Holiday Season.

All donations will be collected at Bel Air High School in the morning between 7:00 A.M. and 7:25 A.M., Also donations will be collected at the school concerts held in the BAHS auditorium from December 10-19, 2013. All of the concerts will start at 7 P.M.

Help by bringing in new, unwrapped toys or cash donations in the mornings and at the holiday concerts to support the Toys for Tots, an organization that collects donations to send to needy less fortunate children throughout the county that makes receiving Christmas toys and presents an option for them.

“We always have collected toys before our holiday concerts, but this year we wanted to do more and offer this wonderful opportunity to the entire school. It is a nice opportunity for the students in the school to help people that are less fortunate then themselves. Hopefully this is a tradition that will continue in Bel Air High School in the years to come.” Says Megan Rolocut, the Tri-M president.

All cash donations will be accepted as well. The people from the Toys for Tots organization will use the money that was donated to them to buy toys in bulk, which helps get more toys for the organization.

“We are fortunate, lots of us are lucky to get presents. We are giving people the joy we feel on Christmas when we open presents, which they usually can’t do.” Says Tri-M secretary, Sydney Schoff
