The California team went on to win 52-6.

–          Matthew Schuler’s Cover of Hallelujah on The Voice: Team Christina has one really strong player on their side: 20-year-old Pennsylvanian Matthew Schuler. Schuler performed the widely known song, “Hallelujah” and once it was released on iTunes after the show, the song jumped to the top of the iTunes charts. His cover was in the #1 spot for 2-3 days, beating out Eminem’s new song ‘Monster’ and longtime chart-topper ‘Royals’ by Lorde.

–          BatKid: A 5-year-old boy with leukemia’s one request from the Make-A-Wish foundation was not uncommon: “I want to be Batman.” What was uncommon was the amount of support and spectators that showed up to watch. The boy and Batman traveled around San Francisco to help out people in need and capture Lex Luther before he robbed a bank. So many people wanted to be there for BatKid that police actually had to turn away volunteers. BatKid later received the, “Key to the City” from San Francisco’s mayor.
