On Nov. 14, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., qualifying Bel Air band, chorus and Orchestra members will have the opportunity to audition for placement in the All County groups.

BAHS band, chorus, and orchestra members will have the opportunity to audition for the All-County music groups if they qualify. To qualify, the student must go to their music group teacher and talk to them about auditioning. The teacher then makes a list of the qualifying students and sends the list to the county, the county then sends audition times to the students. The students must register to audition. The students then audition their selected piece of music to the judges, Harford County Public Schools music teachers.

Once the All County groups are finalized, they consist of a variety of the best members. The band will consist roughly of 85-110 members, the Orchestra will consist of roughly 60 members and the chorus consists of roughly 80-100 members.

The All county groups perform once in the beginning of the school year. The band and orchestra plan to perform at Havre de grace, the chorus plans to perform at North Harford. The groups have performed at North Harford and Patterson Mill in previous years.
