–          The Quarterback – The episode of Glee premiering October 10 is scheduled to honor deceased cast member Cory Montieth who passed away in July. The episode is said to celebrate the life of both Monteith and his character Finn Hudson. The episode is said to reflect Monteith’s actual death though the death of Finn Hudson is not specifically mentioned. Producers have said that this episode was extremely hard to film as the emotions from Monteith’s death are still felt strongly among the group.

–          Jimmy Fallon’s We Can’t Stop video – The Late Night host made a video of him singing and a cappella version of We Can’t Stop by Miley Cyrus with Miley Cyrus and The Roots. The video currently has over 3 million views on YouTube.

–          Government Shutdown – The government shutdown is of course being felt all over the country. With many people out of work, the impact is great even in our own Bel Air community. Bringing some humor into the situation, many parody and spoof videos have been made and posted lightening the mood of the dreadful situation.
