On Sept. 6, 2011 Kylee Webster, a Fallston alumni and social worker of Bel Air who counseled teens, was diagnosed with a form of undifferentiated sarcoma making it very hard for doctors to treat.

Losing her battle, Kylee gained her angels wings on Oct. 11, 2013 Kylee’s Dancing Angels foundation was set in place to provide financial support for sarcoma patients and also raise awareness to about sarcoma and ongoing research efforts focused on finding a cure.

Even on Kylee’s darkest days she always found her “happy place”, which happened to be dancing. Through this foundation it will help other sarcoma patients find their “happy place”.

“Our goal is to not only raise awareness for sarcoma, but to also make Kylee’s vision a reality to help other sarcoma patients find their ‘happy place’,” said Kelli Jazombek, a family-friend.

Kylee underwent more than 15 rounds of chemotherapy, more than 30 rounds of radiation and several major surgeries. Kylee earned her angel wings. She documented her long journey through a blog titled “My Dance through Cancer”, showing everyone her amazing dance talents and fine writing skills.

“We know you believe in angels. Real angels don’t just wing it- they bring it. Shine up your halo, dust off your wings, and let’s make Kylee’s Dancing Angels soar!” said Kylee’s mom, Darlene Webster.
