On Monday, Feb. 13, the Girls’ Basketball Team won a strong game against Mt. Hebron by a score of 59-54.

The Lady Bobcats had a great start against the Vikings, and made an impact on the score early on. Many players made large individual plays, including junior Elizabeth Hillman. Hillman put up 30 points for the Lady Cats and played a large role on offense and defense. Multiple other Bobcats put up large numbers, including junior Keeley McHugh, who had 8 points and 10 rebounds, junior Julia Henry, who scored 7 points, and sophomore Grace Wehland and senior Oceana Murphy, who put up 6 points each.

“Last night was the best we’ve played as a team all season,” says Hillman. “We were on a mission to get the win and we did it together. I’m so proud of our team and the way we stuck together for the whole 32 minutes.”

As the regular season ends, the Lady Bobcats are looking to keep the momentum going forward with the strong wins they’ve been accumulating. They will play Fallston High School on senior night on Tuesday, Feb. 14, followed by a game at Harford Tech on Friday, Feb. 17. Their final game of the regular season will be the following Wednesday, Feb. 22, against Francis Scott Key High School. Go Bobcats!
