On Wednesday, March 30, 2016 our Varsity Lady Bobcats played and defeated Rising Sun 4-1.

The girls continue the season beating Rising Sun 4-1 in 7 innings. Sophomore pitcher Gwen Markowski finished the game with 10 strikeouts and gave up 3 hits. Freshman Kat Perea finished the game with 2 triples and 3 RBI’s. Sophomore Amanda Criss went 2 for 3 at the plate and Junior Morgan Dvorak had a single with 1 RBI.

1 in the 4^th and 3 in the 5^th

“We played pretty good defense behind Gwen and we had timely hits. We just need to improve on bunt coverage and as a team communication in bunt coverage,” Shared Senior Captain Savannah Meyers, “We expect to continue improving on offense and manufacturing runs, and always, we expect to win.”

The girls’ next game is on Monday, April 4, 2016 against Bohemia Manor High School at Bohemia Manor at 3:30 pm. We hope to see plenty of Bel Air supporters in the stands cheering on our Varsity Bobcats!
