On Wednesday, Oct. 7, the Lady Bobcats fell to the Perryville Panthers, 3-1.

The highlight of the game was when the Bobcats won the third set 25-19. The set was an offensive win with key serves from Julie Bernoski, contributing 9 aces, and over 15 assists. Savannah Meyers and Megan Hoy both racked up points with respectively 9 hits combined. Lena Sierocinski and Mary Snow shut down the Panthers with over 3 blocks each. Kayla Chen and Cheyanne Brushette both hustled, and had many digs to keep plays alive. Although the team lost, they accepted the defeat as inspiration to improve.

Coach Dave Marzola said,”Serve receives are something the team really struggles with. We just have to practice, and move on.”

The Girls’ Varsity Volleyball team is excited to take on the Patterson Mill Huskies at Patterson on Oct. 12, at 5 p.m.
