Bobcats Pounce on the Huskies

On Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, the Bel Air Bobcats took down their crosstown rivals, the Patterson Mill Huskies, by a crushing score of 53-7.

It was a terrific game all around for the Bobcats. It was a great overall team win and another huge step in the right direction towards the playoffs.

The Bobcats started off quickly with a two play drive that ended with Sophomore Keegan Mchugh’s short run into the end zone to give the Bobcats the lead.

“We played hard and rebounded from a tough loss. I’m proud of us and ready to finish the season strong,” said Mchugh.

The defense gave up a score early in the game, but warded off the Huskies push and never let them back in the end zone.

“Everyone had a great game. It was a fantastic team win and it’s something the whole team should be proud of. It’s always nice to beat Patterson Mill,” said Junior Jeremy Poole.

The Bobcats have yet another rivalry game this week at home against the C Milton Wright Mustangs. Come out and support the Bobcats on their senior night. Go Bobcats!
