On Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014, the BAHS Cross Country team ran in the UCBAC Conference Championship Meet at Tollgate Park. Both the Boys’ and Girls’ teams qualified for regionals, placing second and third overall.

Freshman Kieran McDermott had the leading time of 16:34.1 for the Boys’ team and placed 4^th, closely followed by Senior Casey Sims with a time of 17:11.2, placing 11^th. Senior Emily League had the leading time of 20:54.0 and placed 7^th and shortly behind her, Freshman Caroline Fallace had a time of 22:14.5 and placed 24^th.

Coach Sokolis said, “Everyone ran really well and we’re excited to see how they do at regionals on Thursday.”

The Cross Country team will run in Regionals right after school on Thursday, Oct. 30, at Tollgate Park.
