Football Experiences First Loss In Week Seven

On Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014, the Bel Air Bobcats lost for the first time this season to the undefeated Aberdeen Eagles by a score of 21-23.

It was a great game and a great battle between both teams. The lead shifted back and forth many times in the game but Aberdeen came out on top. The game was started off when Sophomore Keegan McHugh caught a touchdown pass in the back of the end zone to give the Bobcats a 6-0 lead.

“It was a great start to the game and I really thought we had them. I am excited to get better the next three weeks and hopefully see them again in the playoffs,” said McHugh.

The Bobcats played a great game and fought hard, but late in the fourth quarter, the Eagles drove down the field and kicked the game winning field goal.

The Bobcats play their crosstown rivals the Patterson Mill Huskies this week away at Patterson Mill’s stadium. Come out and support the Bobcats!
