The Bel Air Bobcats’ Football Team hosted the Edgewood Rams on Friday, Sept 19, at 7 p.m. and came away with a great 40-0 victory.

The Bobcats got off to a quick start with a great kickoff return for 80 yards and a touchdown by Senior Brad Casale.

The Bobcats’ defense got a quick three and out and put the ball back in the hands of the offense who marched down the field for a quick 14-0 lead when Sophomore Keegan McHugh raced over the goal line.

“I am very proud of our team’s performance on Friday night. We all did our jobs and came out with a big win. This is another step in the right direction,” said McHugh.

Senior Jack Lewis picked up his first touchdown of the season after the defense shut down the Edgewood offense and returned the ball to the Bobcats.

“We came into the game as the underdog but we knew if we played our game we would come out on top. We set the tone with a touchdown on the opening kickoff and never looked back,” said Lewis.

Bel Air plays the North Harford Hawks this week at home on the turf at 7 p.m. Come out and support. Go Bobcats!
