The Second Annual GSA Mixer

On Saturday, Feb. 18, from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m., Parkville and Dulaney High School will be hosting its second Annual GSA Mixer at the Parkville High School Gym at 2600 Putty Hill Ave., Baltimore, MD 21234.

The GSA Mixer welcomes all genders, races, religions, sexualities, and loving individuals in general! This year’s theme is ‘Love is Love’, which is perfect because it is right after Valentine’s Day!

“I was able to go last year and I had a lot of fun!” Says GSA member Kieran Fitzgerald. “I think it’s really important to have representation for the LGBT community, and the GSA Mixer allows a space that you can be who you are without the anxiety of anyone judging you.”

At the event, there will be the awesome DJ Rosie spinning again, games, food, drinks, a photo booth, karaoke, free raffle prizes, and more!

“It’s important because these dances aren’t just gay-friendly, they’re places where everyone is accepted, no matter what their differences are. Capitalizing on events like these send the message that no one should have to stand in the dark, period.” Logan Domanico, a student at Bel Air, states.

Guests are encouraged to bring a $5.00 donation; however, the dance itself is free to attend! Free registration is available at https://phsgsamixer2.eventbrite.com

Photo ID will be required at the door, but anyone (as long as they attend a high school within the state of Maryland) is welcome to come!
