On Sept. 21, 2016, the first senior meeting for the class of 2017 was held in the auditorium.

This was the first of 4 total senior meetings during the 2016-2017 school year.

A number of topics were covered during the meeting by our senior class advisors, Mr. Smith and Mrs. Taylor. Topics such as homecoming, senior portraits, the powder puff game, secret seniors, class officers, prom, and more were discussed. Details regarding the senior class budget were also disclosed.

“The price that you see now for our operating budget will go down as long as the senior class participates in fundraisers and events to lower the cost of all the senior activities going on this year.” Explains Mrs. Taylor, who later goes on to explain all of the possible ways to help manage to cost per student.

The meeting started and ended on a very positive note. The seniors seem more excited than ever to make this a year to remember.
