The second senior meeting of the 2014-2015 school year happened on Jan. 7, 2015. The meeting was rescheduled from the day before, due to the snow day on Jan. 6.

The senior meeting explained everything that is going to be happening for the rest of the school year such as graduation, prom, and senior shirts. The meeting lasted the whole first hour and part of second hour, due to the two hour delay.

Mr. Smith and Mrs. Taylor switched off, talking about the events for the senior class. The topics discussed were the Winter Formal, Powderpuff Football, and the Senior Prom.

“I’m excited about how close the end of the school year is coming, only a few months left!” said Emily League, a BAHS senior.

Tom Orhm, a representative from Jostens, talked to the Bel Air High seniors about everything they needed to do for graduation. He talked about what is required to buy for graduation, as well as graduation announcements and other Class of 2015 memorabilia. Seniors got a packet, with a book with the announcements to look at and order forms with special packages to order from.

The Bel Air High School Class of 2015 will be graduating in the Harford Community College Arena instead of at the school.

Taylor Brethauer, a senior at BAHS said, “Graduation is going to be so special, HCC is going to be a great place to hold the ceremony in.”
