Congratulations to All the New NHS Inductees

Meghan Thompson

On Tuesday, Nov. 11, Bel Air High School’s chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 87 new members for the 2014-15 school year.

The National Honor Society is a group of students in the school who exemplify exceptional character, scholarship, leadership, and service. In order to be considered for NHS, students had to have at least a 3.5 GPA at the beginning or end of their junior year. A group of teachers then review applications and choose the inductees based on how they represent Bel Air High School in a positive light, as well as portray the four pillars of NHS. “All of the inductees have been blessed with knowledge and perseverance—things that I’m sure they are very proud of. By being accepted into NHS, you get a chance to finally see all your hard work pay off,” said President of the National Honor Society, Taylor Brethauer.

Congratulations to all of the 2014-15 NHS Inductees!
