That’s right, Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston have broken up after a very short-lived love affair that came to an end earlier this month. The pair report that they are remaining friends, but the reason for the break up has yet to be revealed.
The couple was first seen getting flirty at the Met Gala in May, which rose some eye brows. But once photos of the pair together on a beach in Rhode Island were released to the Internet in June, the relationship rumors were all the more evident.
After much prying from the public, Hiddleston finally confirmed everyone’s suspicions by telling The Hollywood Reporter, “Look, the truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together, and we’re very happy.”
They were inseparable ever since then, having celebrated July 4th together, taking trips worldwide to places like Australia and Italy, and even going as far as meeting each other’s parents! The budding romance seemed pretty solid up until the beginning of September.
The couple haven’t been in any pictures together in over a month and people started to wonder why. Their breakup was confirmed by Hiddleston, who claims that they are still friends.
We all know Taylor’s ticket to fame was her ability to write number one hits back-to-back, and even complete albums seemingly right after her relationships went downhill.
