VIRAL:

ACES2016: The American Copy Editors Society conference of 2016 was held this week, and the Associated Press revealed a rather interesting change to their style guidelines. Starting on June 1, newspapers and other organizations following the AP Standard will not be capitalizing the words “Internet” or “Web.” While the reason was not thoroughly explained, the Associated Press was also quick to note that the World Wide Web and the internet are not to be referred to interchangeably.

John Kasich: While #VIRAL tries to keep politics out of our weekly coverage, this was simply too interesting to pass up. The Republican presidential candidate John Kasich has confirmed something no other candidate has — he’s a Belieber. That’s right, Kasich even refers to the popstar as “Biebs,” and would definitely not have a problem with using “Sorry” in the background of his rallies. Also, in light of this reveal, Twitter has dug up some old pictures of the Ohio Governor in which he sported Bieber’s infamous early haircut, long before Bieber was even born. So…who wore it better?

Kanye West: Well, it happened. After he promised that The Life of Pablo was never to be released outside of TIDAL, Kanye West retracted and made the album downloadable for $20 on his own website. Along with this, Pablo has also been made available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, and more. So if you’ve been holding off on this headline-crushing Kanye West release, there’s not a need to do so any longer.
