Viral:

  • Sufjan Stevens: The indie folk veteran became a trending topic online this week after he began closing his recent setlists with a cover of Drake’s hit, “Hotline Bling.” Made complete by a guest appearance by Stevens’ opening act, Gallant, a giant picture of Drake himself in the background, and Stevens copying the hilarious dance moves from the music video for “Hotline Bling,” audience members were treated to a good laugh after a night of solemn, slower tracks.
  • The Voice: After long-running speculation, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, co-stars of the NBC singing competition The Voice went public about their romantic relationship. Stefani is perhaps most famous for her work with No Doubt, and Shelton is a country music star. Fittingly, the two made their first public appearance as a couple at the CMA after part.
  • BlackBerry: Here’s a blast from the past – pre-iPhone cell phone giants BlackBerry are back, and, allegedly, better than ever. Now built around Google’s Android operating system and featuring the iconic physical keyboard, the BlackBerry Priv has been called the “best BlackBerry device in a decade.”
