On Sunday, Oct. 26, each marching band from high schools across Harford County met here at Bel Air High at 3 p.m. to showcase their talents.

Among the schools performing, along with Bel Air, were Joppatowne, C. Milton Wright, Fallston, North Harford, Patterson Mill, Edgewood, and Aberdeen. The bands each performed their halftime show outside on the football field.

The stadium seats were packed on Sunday. Many parents of the students as well as friends came out to listen to the music and watch the performances.

For some, this was their last showcase with the marching band. Sydney Schoff, a senior member commented, “I definitely think that we did the best that we could and it was one of our best shows of the year. Our showcase made me very proud to be a part of the Bel Air High School Band Program.”
